RULES AND REGULATION
Thank you for being a part of VirtuKuku, a community-led VR VTuber convention! Whether you are attending, performing, volunteering, vending, or hosting a panel or space—these rules apply to everyone equally.
By attending or participating in any capacity, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with all terms outlined below.
General Terms of Participation
Community Event Notice
VirtuKuku is a not-for-profit, fan-led virtual convention. Many roles are voluntary, and event access is free to the public. While every effort is made to provide a smooth experience, attendees should expect occasional technical or schedule changes due to the nature of digital events.
Equal Obligation Policy
All participants, hosts, performers, vendors, staff, and general attendees are held to the same standards. No one is exempt from the following policies, regardless of role, follower count, or status.
Code of Conduct & Behavior Expectations
Respect at All Times
All individuals attending or participating in VirtuKuku must:
-
Treat others with respect, kindness, and basic decency
-
Avoid harassment, bigotry, or hostile behavior
-
Wear platform-appropriate (TOS-safe) avatars
-
Behave professionally in panels, performances, and shared spaces
-
Follow platform rules (e.g., VRChat, Discord)
-
Refrain from acting disruptive, inappropriate, or “weird” in ways that threaten the safety or comfort of others.
Streaming and Photography Policy
Some panels, performances, or areas may be marked “no recording,” “no screenshots,” or “no streaming.” These boundaries must be strictly respected. Violating this rule may result in an immediate and permanent ban, especially if content is shared without consent.
Safety, Reporting & Enforcement
Zero-Tolerance Policy
The following will not be tolerated under any circumstances:
-
Harassment or bullying.
-
Sexual misconduct or advances (verbal or avatar-based).
-
Hate speech or discrimination.
-
Exploitation, stalking, doxxing, impersonation.
-
Inappropriate behavior toward minors.
-
Violating no-stream zones or content boundaries.
-
Complaint Handling & Bans
All reports of harmful or unsafe behavior will be taken seriously. If a participant is found to violate these terms:
-
They may be removed without warning
-
They may be permanently banned from current and future VirtuKuku events
-
In severe cases, behavior may be reported to platform staff or legal authorities
VirtuKuku organizers reserve the right to remove or restrict access to any individual at any time for any reason that endangers others, disrupts the event, or violates this agreement.
Liability & Consent
Voluntary Participation
You understand that your participation is at your own discretion and risk. VirtuKuku organizers are not liable for issues caused by platform outages, third-party tools, or the actions of other attendees.
Use of Digital Content
By attending, you consent to the possible use of screenshots, streams, or recordings from public spaces—unless you are in a designated no-recording zone, in which case those boundaries will be respected. You are also responsible for respecting others’ boundaries and consent regarding content sharing.
Agreement Summary
By joining VirtuKuku in any capacity (host, performer, vendor, attendee, volunteer, etc.), you agree to:
-
Abide by all terms listed above
-
Behave respectfully toward others at all times
